The Lord has blessed me with many service opportunities and experiences. I grew up on a dairy farm in Green, Ohio and then went off to school at Florida State University (FSU) to study Meteorology and Math. After graduating FSU with a degree in Math Education, I taught Math a couple years back here in Ohio before joining the U.S. Air Force. My first assignment was to Penn State University to complete my degree in Meteorology. Afterwards, I served as a weather officer until completing my tour of duty. After the Air Force, I joined the National Weather Service and worked as a forecaster and eventually managed several weather offices in Ohio, Maine and South Carolina. I went to Bible College while in South Carolina and earned Master of Ministry and Th.D degrees over several years while attending night school. After Bible college, I served as Associate Pastor and Pastor at a couple different churches. I also resumed my teaching career in Florida after retiring from the NWS. I returned home to Ohio last summer to manage the family farm (we board horses) and to serve here at Heritage as a Math tutor. I have been blessed also to continue in the ministry here in Ohio as a Bible teacher to a fellowship that meets at our farm. Heritage is a fantastic place to work because the school is Christ centered and the staff reflects the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. My favorite Bible verses are 1 Timothy 3:16-17;
(16) All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
(17) that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. ESV
