Music Teacher

330-452-8271 ext. 409

Miss Carrion studied music education at Youngstown State University and Kent State University with an emphasis on instrumental education. At those schools, her main instrument of study was on the trombone (with a specialty in low brass). After graduating as a Golden Flash, Miss Carrion served as a Substitute Teacher in multiple schools in the Stark County area, taught private music lessons, and was a Kids' Director for two different programs at Damascus Friends Church. In addition, Miss Carrion was the Marching Band Director at Western Reserve Local School District and at David Anderson Jr/Sr School. Miss Carrion's favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Starting at Heritage Christian School this year, Miss Carrion said, "I fell in love with becoming a part of the team. The staff here are quite friendly, helpful, encouraging, and honest. It feels great to be in a school where I can truly be myself without holding back my identity as a child of God. I love having opportunities to pray with and for the students as well as sharing the Word with the children. I'm looking forward to building the music program up and excited to see the future results with help from God."
