My bachelors' degree is in  Mathematics from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas.  My masters' degree is in Secondary Education (Mathematics) from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.  My work experience includes working as a computer systems engineer, and a teacher for over 40 years.

My favorite bible verse:
"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves;ensure justice for those who are perishing.Yes speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice" Proverbs 31:8-9

I like the flexibility that I have in working with the teachers and together we set up my daily work schedule. I love working with the k-3 grade level because as a secondary math teacher I can see where the students are headed and prevent some of the pitfalls before they go to the higher grade levels of math. One of the biggest pitfalls that I see is that students do not learn their basic math facts and if they don't get them covered before 3rd grade they will suffer in mathematics for the rest of their lives.
