Each child is a special gift from God. At Heritage Christian Preschool, we minister to children through a Christ-centered education designed to help children grow day by day in knowledge and understanding. Our teachers provide a high quality, age-appropriate academic program and also focus on social skills, cooperation and good manners.
Our preschool began as a pre-kindergarten class in 1968 with the goal of providing a Christian education to guide children in developing their God-given talents and abilities. We respect and support the family and pledge to work closely with parents to help them in the healthy development of each child. Our staff and teachers pray daily for our students and with our students.
Hours and Scheduling
Classes for children ages 3 years old and potty-trained to 5 years old
Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
Full-day, half-day and extended-day program with flexible options for part-time needs.
Summer Program also available with new activities each year.

Preschool Supply List -- Please label all items with your child's name.
- 2 bottles of Elmer's Glue (white)
- 24 crayons -- basic colors only, please
- 1 pair of scissors (rounded tip)
- 1 pack of washable markers
- 2 bottles of Purell-brand (only) hand sanitizer pump, 6 oz. to 12 oz., unscented, no color
- Prang or Crayola Watercolor Paint
- 2 large boxes of tissues (250 count)
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 1 small school box for supplies (for glue, scissors, crayons)
- 1 complete, labeled change of clothes, including socks, to keep in your child's locker AT ALL TIMES.
- Blanket and pillow or bedroll to keep in your child's locker all week and take home to wash every Friday (all day students only)
Location
Heritage Christian Preschool is located at 2107 - 6th Street SW in Canton (in the former Lincoln High School) about one block south of West Tuscarawas (Route 172). The preschool is on the lower level of the Heritage Christian School building. There is secured entry into the school building.
