Each child is a special gift from God. At Heritage Christian Preschool, we minister to children through a Christ-centered education designed to help children grow day by day in knowledge and understanding. Our teachers provide a high quality, age-appropriate academic program and also focus on social skills, cooperation and good manners.
Our preschool began as a pre-kindergarten class in 1968 with the goal of providing a Christian education to guide children in developing their God-given talents and abilities. We respect and support the family and pledge to work closely with parents to help them in the healthy development of each child. Our staff and teachers pray daily for our students and with our students.
Hours and Scheduling
Classes for children ages 3 years old and potty-trained to 5 years old
Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
Full-day, half-day and extended-day program with flexible options for part-time needs.
Summer Program also available with new activities each year.

Preschool Supply List -- Please label all items with your child's name.
PRESCHOOL 4s CLASS
- 2 bottles of Elmer's Glue (white)
- 24 pack of crayons
- Scissors (no sharp points)
- Crayola Watercolor Paints
- 2 packs of markers (8 pack WASHABLE)
- Small supply box (for crayons, glue scissors)
- 1 pack of pencils
- 1 two-pocket folder (sent home on Fridays and return on Mondays)
- 1 large box of tissues
- 1 paint shirt
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 1 box of sandwich bags -- zip style
- Please have a complete change of clothes in your child's locker AT ALL TIMES (even if your child no longer has bathroom accidents -- we sometimes have other spills).
- Please have a blanket and pillow or bedroll in your child's locker AT ALL TIMES (full-day students only). Please take the blanket home to be cleaned the last day your child attends each week and then return it the following week.
- Please label all items with your child's name.
PRESCHOOL 3s CLASS

- Crayola Watercolor Paints
- 8 pack of WASHABLE Crayola markers
- Small supply box (for crayons, glue, markers)
- 1 two-pocket folder (sent home on Fridays and return on Mondays)
- Basic 8 pack of Crayola crayons (triangular preferred, if you can find them!)
- Scissors - blunt tip (Fiskars preferred)
- 1 large box of tissues
- 1 roll of paper towels

Location
Heritage Christian Preschool is located at 2107 - 6th Street SW in Canton (in the former Lincoln High School) about one block south of West Tuscarawas (Route 172). The preschool is on the lower level of the Heritage Christian School building. There is secured entry into the school building.
