Conqueror Athletics
The purpose of Heritage Christian School Athletics is to provide a way for our athletes to use the gifts and abilities with which they have been blessed to bring glory and honor to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

All HCS coaches and athletes will conduct themselves in a Christ-like manner, projecting Christian values at all times. All coaches will be responsible for being a positive role model to all of our athletes. All athletes will be held responsible for promoting team unity and encouraging fellow teammates.
Heritage Christian High School is a member of Ohio High School Athletic Association. The OHSAA has rules and regulations, specifically concerning sport physicals, eligibility and transfer students. Each athlete is required to have a sports medical physical before participating in athletics. HCS athletes and their parents should familiarize themselves with those regulations.
Our athletic teams compete against both Christian and public schools during the sports season. A sports fee is charged to each athlete to defray the cost of the athletic program. This fee is a “pay to participate” not a “pay to play” fee. Due to the varied talents of athletes on each team, playing time is not guaranteed. Playing time is determined by the ability and Christian character of the athlete. Each coach strives to get each player quality minutes during the season. Practice time is used to improve his/her talents.
Athletics allows the student to develop and use his or her God-given ability to glorify God. Dealing with the pressure of athletic competition, the athlete is tested and their true character revealed. The character development that the athlete develops by participating in athletics will help them in all aspects of life.
